The Organisation of Working Time Act

The Organisation of Working Time Act regulates working hours, breaks and holidays. It requires that employers ensure that employees do not work in excess of an average of 48 hours per week (subject to some limited exceptions). It guarantees workers a minimum of four weeks paid annual leave per annum as well as entitlements in respect of public holidays.
